How Does It Work?
Following your Consultation, you can start your selected program immediately. The infusion will be administered and monitored by our training Registered Nurse and our doctor will be available at all times.
IV Therapy is considered to be a minimally invasive treatment and typically takes 30 minutes to an hour to administer. The Registered Nurse will put up your drip with your prescribed supplement by inserting a small needle and a drip bag. You can then sit or lie back and relax while your cocktail runs.
At The Face and Body Place, we offer IV Nutrient Therapy as once off treatments however we offer recommended packages which can be done as either 3 or 6-month packages.

How often do you need to do IVT?
Each IVT program is different and you will be guided accordingly. The Myers Cocktail is typically administered on a monthly basis whereas the Glutathione IV is suggested to have administered on a more regular basis which will be discussed with you in consultation.
What Are The Unwanted Effects / Risks Of The Treatment?
As with any treatment, there is always a possibility of having an adverse effect on treatment and this is dependent on a number of factors which differ from person to person.
While adverse reactions are rare, we will discuss these with you. It is important in this regard that you disclose your full medical history at the time of consultation.
